Job Title*: Elections Specialist
Job Description: -Maintain, adjust and update voting districts; utilized various county and city maps in amending, adjusting and determining special voting precincts and districts.
-maintain and revise street index and precinct district file; checked and verifies parcel changes received from county and city agencies; updates County streeet index files.
-Researches and compiles data from County records and other sources, including land/right-of-way/topography maps.
-Processes voter registration documents, absentee voter applications and ballots and other election-related documents; verifies signatures on candidate nomination petititions;maintains and updates voter registration files; approves requests for ballots; ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies.
-Researches and complies list of polling places and vote centers
-Prepares correspondence, forms, maps and other materials.
-May serve as a lead worker over office clerical/technical staff as assigned;may check or review the work of others; trains others.

Salary: $3,281 - $3,987 / Month
