Job Title*: Dangermond Fellow - Enterprise GIS
Job Description: The Dangermond fellowship is a newly formed opportunity through the partnership between National Audubon Society & Esri. The Audubon Enterprise GIS team is hiring 3 Dangermond Fellows to assist in supporting Audubon’s Enterprise GIS platform. This prestigious fellowship is designed with the aim to foster the next generation of leaders in Enterprise GIS. Fellows will receive extensive and immersive training in the full ArcGIS platform at both the Esri campus in Redlands, CA and at the Audubon headquarters in New York City. The position runs from June 2017 until June 2018.

Fellows will work full time over the summer to attend trainings, the Esri User Conference, and spend time on a GIS related project at a unique Audubon field location (center or an office). In the fall and until the end of the fellowship, fellows will work part time and remotely from their college location. This is an excellent opportunity for an exceptional GIS student to gain experience in using the entire suite of ArcGIS capabilities to support within a large nonprofit conservation organization that is a leader in enterprise GIS. Fellows will be mentored by experts in the GIS platform. The goal of the program is to provide fellows with enterprise level exposure in a GIS department that is at the forefront of the GIS Enterprise landscape. Experience with GIS server technologies, cloud servers, database management systems, application development, and account management from an ESRI President’s Award winning team will be gained by hands-on application.

Students from all types of colleges and all areas of the country are invited to apply. When submitting your application please include your cover letter and your interest in the fellowship. Applications that do not include a cover letter with a video link will not be accepted.
